A man under arrest for mutilating the body of a Filipino woman he lived with had been in a dispute with her over their share of rent for their Tokyo apartment, sources at her workplace said.
Investigators suspect that the dispute may have triggered the incident, and are grilling the suspect, 48-year-old Hiroshi Nozaki, over allegations that he murdered the 22-year-old victim, Honiefith Ratilla Kamiosawa.

Command-N will host a new event "Alternative Tokyo: Dada-things-up a bit!/01" on Saturday 29th March, 2008, at their project site, Kandada. This project is a 'contest' of presentations without a specific theme - what we might call a "Symposium of Expression". In this first meeting, no one has no idea of how the event will develop. They aim to see each presenter's passion; their passion to get 'something' across, their eagerness to show, to talk about, or make moves to do something. Anyone welcome. "Cocoon Morphs Tokyo" at Womb (Shibuya area) (2008-04-11 - 2008-04-18)
Globalization has taken hold around the world, and club culture is no exception. Andreas Gursky has documented this symbolic phenomenon in his photo series "Cocoon I". The Cocoon Club in Frankfurt, Germany has adopted the motif of the cocoon as its own, and its producer-cum-artist Sven Vath has gathered Cocoon artists and will bring the Cocoon project "Cocoon Morphs Tokyo" to Womb in Shibuya and Ebisu Garden Place for three weeks this April. "Cocoon" is the blanket term for projects undertaken by Cocoon and Sven Vath.
